San Diego Zoo

This past Sunday, we headed to San Diego with some of Sophie's

preschool friends for a day of sun, fun and animals ....


We saw so many animals at the zoo ...
Birds,
Monkeys,
Hippos,
Lions
Polar Bears
Elephants
Gorillas
Panda Bears
... and so much more.

The only challenge was with so many friends -
5 families in total ...
it was a little tough to stick together

It really was a great day
spent with really good friends at the zoo.
And though I have no photos of this part,
we ended the day with
margaritas and Mexican food.
It was the perfect ending to a day of adventure!

I realized that there are so few photos of Blake at the zoo ...
because he was strapped to me in the Ergo carrier ... all. day. long.
Which means that there aren't many photos of me either ...
but rest assured, we were there ...

On the way home, we stopped for Mexican food
and margaritas (for the adults) with our friends.
It was delicious ... and enough to lull Sophie and Blake
to sleep on the way home and energize the adults for the long drive home.

It was a great day ... can't wait to do it again soon!
